They will play the first match against K League 2 Seoul E-Land in Mokdong, Seoul on the 1st, and aim to remain in K League 1 in this promotion playoff, which will be played in a home-and-away format.
Jeonbuk is a powerhouse that holds the record for the most wins in K League 1 (9 times), but they have been in 10th place due to poor performance this season, and have failed to turn things around under manager Kim Du-hyeon, putting them on the edge of a cliff.
However, they recently confirmed their advance to the AFC Champions League round of 16 and raised their spirits by crushing Cebu 4-0.
They will utilize a two-track strategy in which the first team will play in the promotion playoffs and the second team will prepare for the ACL.
As the main attackers are in good form, they will aim to return to Jeonju City, which Jeonbuk fans are waiting for, by winning the first match.
